Waxing

Waxing eliminates the need for shaving by removing the hair at the follicle level. After each treatment, your hair may grow back slower and lighter in color. Depending on the area being treated, the hair may take 4 to 8 weeks to grow back.

The Procedure

Comfort is our top priority at Physicians Aesthetics. First, the skin is cleansed of all oils and dead skin cells. Then warm wax is applied and gently removed to reveal hair-free skin. Oil is applied to prevent irritated skin and ingrown hairs.

There are two types wax: hard and soft. Hard wax is used for sensitive skin and small patches of stubborn hair. This wax does not adhere to the skin preventing excessive tugging. Soft wax is used for large areas of hair and more course hair. Your aesthetician will decide which wax is best for you and your skin.

After-Care

After your waxing treatment, baths and sauna's should be avoided to not further irritate the follicles. More treatments usually reduces hair growth. Treatment should be scheduled every 4-8 weeks depending on the area. Schedule online or call (678) 213- 2220 today to meet with our medically trained professional for an in-depth consultation.
